We are a MIXED BILLING and  APPOINTMENT ONLY practice. 
Dr Tarun Chauhan charges time based PRIVATE FEES (with a medicare rebate claimable when the account is fully paid) for non-concession card holders older than 16 and all patients consulting him for the first time. Concession Card holders and children under 16 are BULK BILLED. Our GP registrars BULK BILL all patients with a Medicare card. A time based PRIVATE FEE is charged for non Medicare patients.

Our regular patients can book Telehealth appointment by calling the practice on 91535363. Eligibility criteria and private fees apply for those not registered with MyMedicare.

We understand that sometimes appointments need to be rescheduled, but please be aware that no-shows and cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a non-attendance fee to support fair access to care.

For urgent medical needs and minor injuries, Sydney Medical Service’s After Hours Doctor Service 1300 HOME GP (87246300) is available from 6pm onwards on weekdays, from 12pm on Saturdays and 24hrs on Sundays and Public Holidays. This service is fully bulk billed for patients with a valid Medicare card. In case of a life-threatening illness call the ambulance service on 000 or go to the nearest hospital.

Caritas Medical Centre will be CLOSED from Friday 18th April to Sunday 27th April. We will REOPEN on Monday 28th April at 8:30am. Phones will not be attended from Thursday 17th April. Online booking options are available during this time. Patients can view and book available appointments online via our website or via health engine.

Bulk billing after hours home visit service is available for our regular patients, please call Sydney Medical Service on 8724 6300 for after hours and public holidays. You can also see a GP at an Urgent Care Clinic near you. Please refer to the Department of Health Medicare website for details.
