Dr Tarun Chauhan has been working as a fully qualified Australian trained doctor for over two decades having completed his primary medical degree (MBBS) with Honours at the University of Sydney. He completed his internship at Concord Hospital and has worked as a surgical registrar at Westmead Hospital before choosing a career in General Practice. He has trained at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, successfully completing a postgraduate qualification in paediatrics being awarded a Diploma in Child Health (Paediatrics) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Chauhan’s patients appreciate his exceptional knowledge of the local healthcare system and how it can best serve them. Dr Chauhan’s passion for teaching finds expression in his role as an accredited training supervisor for doctors specialising in the Australian General Practice training program and also takes on medical students in their final years of training from the University of New South Wales who rotate through the practice throughout the year. Dr Chauhan has served on the Executive Board of the St George Division of General Practice including roles as Secretary and Treasurer and continues to engage in advocacy for patient services.
In his spare time, Dr Chauhan enjoys gardening, high intensity interval training, mantra meditation, studying Vedic Philosophy and spending time with his wife, teenagers and their two pets.
Dr. Lenihan graduated from Medicine at the National University of Ireland in 2017 and has spent the past eight years developing broad clinical experience across hospital medicine, with a particular focus on emergency medicine, anaesthetics, ICU and paediatric emergency care.
She is passionate about delivering patient-centred care, taking a holistic and balanced approach and actively involving patients in decisions about their treatment. She looks forward to bringing this ethos to the team and contributing to a supportive, compassionate environment.
Outside of work, she enjoys Pilates, visiting art exhibitions and travelling to experience different countries and cultures.
Dr Lenihan sees patients by appointments and walk-ins if there is availability. She consults from Monday to Thursday from 8:30am to 1:00pm and 1:30pm to 5:30pm and one Saturday a month. Appointments can be booked via this website, healthengine or by calling 9153 5363
